Food was fire! So good, the owners were so nice and ensured our service was valued through communication and frequently checking in to see how things were going. 10/10 definitely recommend you won’t be disappointed.
Wings were excellent. These weren’t your usual cheap, skimpy chicken wings. Lots of meat on these wings- I felt that the price of the wings was more than justified given the quality of the chicken. Sauces were excellent and flavorful. I recommend the honey garlic. Fries were crispy. Food came out very fast; staff was nothing short of pleasant. - Wasn’t a huge fan of the ranch they had; but I think that’s just my personal preference. Will definitely be back!!!
Was in Phoenix from out of town and as a chicken wing lover, had to check out the highest rated spot in the city and it absolutely did not disappoint! First of all, great location. Hopped off the train and a 100 foot walk to the restaurant. I went an hour before a Phoenix Suns game (1 block away) and surprisingly it wasn't too busy at all. Cashier was very nice taking my order, answered my questions, and staff came around a couple times to ask if I was good, and one even brought me wet wipes without me asking because she could see I was sauced up haha. Most importantly, the food was INCREDIBLE. I got Buffalo wings, Parmesan Garlic wings, and some seasoned fries. The fries were crispy and hot. The buffalo sauce was a perfect flavor, on the spicier side. The parmesan garlic was borderline artisan, as it was actual garlic wings with grated and shredded parmesan, not just some parmesan garlic sauce. The ranch was also very good. And best of all the wings were of high quality and cooked to perfection. I do not like huge wings (that are pumped full of steroids) because I find the meat to be rubbery and gross. These wings are slightly on the smaller side but they were very tender and fried to a perfect crisp. I highly recommend Midwest to any chicken lover!

While on our couples trip, we heard about Midwest Wings XL from Grant, the Phoenix Sun security guard. When we walked into the restaurant, we were greeted with a smile. My husband and I ordered the lunch special, honey garlic five wings, fries, and kool-aid for 14 each. The celery was included with the request. We met the owner and had a great conversation about the area and her background. The chicken and fries were seasoned to perfection. I highly recommend Midwest Wings XL for your next meal. My wife and I were visiting the Phoenix area from out of town and were looking for a place to have lunch. We decided we wanted wings so I started to check reviews and immediately this place shot to the top. Let me tell you, the reviews were all true. We ordered two six piece wings. I went with hot honey and my wife had the asian zing. Both of the flavors fit the description, the hot honey was sweet and spicy. The asian zing hit all the right notes. We also ordered the Philly fries. This is an order of thier battered fries smothered in steak, cheese, bell peppers, and a great zingy sauce. This was amazing and next time I come back I will definitely be having them agian. We were also recommended to try the buffalo chicken egg roll by the employee working the counter. It was soooooo good, I would have ordered two if I would have known they were going to hit like that. The customer service at this location was a 10/5. I unfortunately didn't catch the lady's name that was working the counter yesterday but she was AMAZING!!! She was so helpful and gave some great opinions to help us make our choices on wing flavors. I hate that I don't live in Phoenix. There's no doubt in my mind that this would become my go-to wing spot. This restaurant has all necessary components to be great and thrive in that location. If every interaction is handled like mine then they WILL BE successful.
10/10 ! Everything we ordered was on point! The fries were really crispy and had the perfect crunch to it. They weren’t greasy at all. The Philly fires were soooooo delicious! I got 12 piece wings and did half of the garlic Parmesan dry rub wings were hands down so good and crispy. I loved them. And the other half was the sweet chili wings were good and had a good flavor profile. Everything was so good and fresh. The kool-aid was PERFECT! I would definitely recommend and come here again. The service was great ! They continuously check up on us to make sure we were good on our drinks.
